Brand new and Direct from Viper Knives of Italy
Blade:Â The Dan 2 sports a Wharncliffe blade made from N690. It has a highly attractive satin finish on the nearly full height flat grind and a slightly crowned spine adding to the classy look of this gentleman’s folder. A short swedge at the tip delivers a fine point for enhanced piercing as well as detail work. This is an everyday workhorse blade wrapped in a classy package.
Handle:Â The handles are ergonomic and contoured to provide comfort and security even during long use. This version has eye-catching Silver Twill scales attached to nested stainless steel liners. The liners also contain the Action Stopper mechanism, a set of detent balls that deliver secure, non-locking operation that is similar to a slip joint. A partial titanium back spacer, anodized blue, provides a solid mount for the clip which pairs with the slim, smooth design making the knife nearly disappear in the pocket.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.
Bohler N690: N690 is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 or 440C with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and ease of sharpening.
