Blade: The long, slim blade is fully flat ground with a flat spine that tapers to a fine point for solid slicing and piercing performance. Finished with a fine satin for style, Jimping on the spine and index choil offer optimal traction in the hand. Generously sized to accommodate larger hands, the familiar, ambidextrous Spyderco Round Hole opener is simple and easy to use. CPM-S90V stainless steel delivers high-end performance in both edge retention and corrosion resistance.

Handle: Ultra-lightweight, durable and weatherproof peel-ply textured Carbon Fiber delivers premium performance with style while the peel-ply texture enhances traction in the hand. Reliable and built with serious use in mind the Native Chief is equipped with Spyderco’s beefy mid-back lock that is smooth to operate, ambidextrous and rock solid. Thick enough for good rigidity, the Native Chief does without steel liners for reduced weight without compromising strength. At over 5 inches in length, the handle accommodates even the largest of gloved hands.

Carries via a 4-position hourglass pocket clip with through lanyard hole.

CPM-S90V: A unique tool steel made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, CPM S90V offers substantial improvements in edge retention over 440C and D2, and other high chromium steels, with corrosion resistance equal to or better than 440C.
