The Blade: CPM-S35VN blade steel offers toughness and strength.  Flat ground with aggressive serrations, the blade is a capable slicer and can also tackle tough to cut items like cloth and cardboard. Black DLC coating protects blade from corrosives while also providing a non-reflective finish for tactical purposes.  Double finger choils provide multiple grip positions to keep the blade away from the fingers.

The Handle: Injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is both lightweight and incredibly durable. Spyderco’s bi-directional texturing provides for an excellent, but non-aggressive grip. Full ambidextrous design with centrally located lock back release and four way pocket clip option.
