Based on the original SOG Pentagon dagger, the Pentagon OTF delivers a top slide, out-the-front automatic with premium materials. The Pentagon OTF retains the popular dagger design that made this platform the choice of military and uniformed professionals the world over. This “Blackout” version comes with a black TiNi coated CPM-S35VN blade and black 6061-T6 aluminum handles.

Blade: A classic, symmetrical double edge dagger profile comes in black titanium nitride coated S35VN for balanced performance and discreet use. A +3.5 inch blade operates fast and smooth via double action automatic mechanism. Press forward to deploy and back to retract, it is simple, reliable and fully ambidextrous thanks to the top slide location. Dual fullers add aesthetic appeal, while the dual cutting edges and fine point make this an effective combat tool.

Handle: Designed for comfort and traction in the hand, the tough, lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum handle construction has strategic jimping and dual guards for safety. The symmetrical design allows the knife to be used in any grip or blade orientation. An internal automatic locking mechanism insures safety in both use and carry.

Carries via a tip-down, stainless steel pocket clip suitable for ambidextrous carry.

CPM-S35VN: A modified version of S30V designed for improved toughness over and easier machining and polish. Improved toughness is roughly 15-20%, with a slight decrease in wear resistance (edge retention). Corrosion resistance is also lightly higher, close to AISI 420. S35VN is a well-balanced steel for daily use.
