The TM1 MS features a handle built from a single solid piece of Micarta paired with a double spring lock back mechanism for superior strength. The big bellied reverse tanto blade is crafted from nearly 3/16 inch thick Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel and given a satin finish. Sleipner has greater edge retention and resistance to chipping than D2 and excellent wear resistance. It has a thumb notch on its spine for ambidextrous operation and rides smoothly on the IKBS bearing pivot system.
