Its bidirectional textured black FRN handle is substantial and strong for durability no matter the hand size, gloved or otherwise. This version comes in black fiberglass-reinforced nylon with a satin finished, partially serrated blade.

Blade: With over three inches of versatile partially serrated cutting edge the Cara Cara 2 blade is fully flat ground and comes to a piercing point for solid slicing and piercing performance. Jimped coil and thumb ramp offer superior control for added safety. Its ambidextrous comet shaped hole opener allows for easy one hand opening with smooth bronze washer action. The fine satin finish is timeless and classy with solid performance. 

Handle: Durable FRN handle is finely textured in a black colorway and smoothed around the edges for a comfortable grip. It has a forward choil for choking up on finer cutting tasks with Torx construction. Inset skeletonized steel liners add support for no-flex gripping. A super strong lock back mechanism keeps the blade in place while you work. 

Carries via a 4-position stainless steel pocket clip.

8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with a good balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and takes a razor sharp edge with ease. Edge holding is relatively low.
