Mercury Knives, as part of MKM and the Mikita network, and custom knife maker and designer Lucas Burnley have teamed up again to deliver another modern classic slip joint folder: the Cellina. The Cellina has a clean, modern design that pushes the boundaries of modern style and performance while offering a traditional feel. This version comes with full Titanium scales and a satin finished M390 drop point blade.
Brand new and Direct from Mercury Knives/MKM.
Blade: The satin finished M390 blade is a clean and simple drop point with a thin, slicing hollow grind and teardrop shaped opening hole. The drop point offers fine control at the tip for detail work while the hollow grind delivers exceptional slicing performance. The snappy slip joint operation doesn’t lock but offers plenty of security for daily use. The teardrop hole offers traction for opening while being seamlessly integrated into the visual design of the blade.
Handle: The handle of the Cellina has a modern look with a large palm swell and integral finger guard adding safety during use. Full titanium handles house a robust stainless steel backspacer and an extended pommel end with hole for lanyard attachment. Blue anodized pivot collars add a pop of color to this modern traditional folding knife.
This traditionally inspired knife has no pocket clip. Includes leather sheath with magnetic loop for belt or pocket carry.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
