The Spartan Tri-Ad lock folder is pure Cold Steel with pairing an ultra tough strong with a powerful recurve Kukri blade and an eye catching Greek kopis inspired handle for a truly impressive folding knife. This limited edition Lynn Thompson Signature Series version comes with a satin finished, fully serrated S35VN blade and contoured green G10 handle scales. The blade is etched with Lynn Thompson’s signature, he signed the box and each comes with its own unique serial number.

Blade: The full flat ground satin S35VN blade is fully serrated with a striking recurve that delivers strong slicing ability with nearly 4 inches of cutting edge. Deployment via the ambidextrous Demko thumb plate is smooth thanks to rugged bronze washers. The thumb plate can also be used for on-the-draw pocket deployment when the seconds count.

Handle: Made from 3D CNC machined and bead blasted G10, the handle is ergonomic and secure in the hand without the need for aggressive texturing thanks to the dramatic kopis-style dual curve. Pocket transition is fast and smooth while the Tri-Ad lock system delivers secure, reliable lockup for safe use.

Carries via a left or right hand stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.

Tri-Ad Lock: The Tri-Ad lock system functions like any back lock: pushing down on a spring in the rear of the handle releases the blade. It differs by adding a stop pin between the blade and back spring. This pin handles any pressure put on the knife and allows the spring to self adjust over time, resulting in a rock solid lock that can handle an absurd amount of weight in lock strength tests.
