Boker Plus delivers a full production version of French custom knife maker Franck Souville’s Bad Guy slip joint with precision. This massive folding knife has the same milled G10 handle construction with stainless-steel skull shield inlay and hand rubbed satin clip point blade. Subtle differences include screw construction, D2 blade steel and a budget friendly price. For hard use or collection, the Boker Bad Guy is a standout design.
Brand new, direct from Boker Knives.
Blade:Â Nearly 1.5 inches wide at its peak, the broad clip point blade is part hunter part skinner and all business with a slicing full flat grind and hand rubbed satin finish. Integral ‘washers’ deliver smooth operation with a large milled nick on the front for opening.
Handle:Â Red fiber liners contrast with the contoured and milled G10 scales for visual appeal. The scales are bolster milled with a hammered-texture milling for solid traction. A full-length stainless back spring protects the blade when closed and delivers solid non-locking slip joint operation.
No pocket clip.
D2 Tool Steel:Â Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
